Proposal for power plant challenged over bond issue: Herald-Leader  Posted: June 12, 2001
Oldham County citizens are suing to stop the use of tax-exempt bonds to finance the construction and operation of a gas-fired electric power plant. The lawsuit filed in Franklin Circuit Court by Community Against Power Plants also claims the state gives the power plant preferential treatment in property taxation. Read the article here.
