Office Manager/Bookkeeper

The Kentucky Resources Council is a non-profit environmental law and policy organization that has worked since 1984 to protect Kentucky's natural resources and promote environmental justice. 
We are looking for a motivated and organized person to become a part-time Office Manager/ bookkeeper in our Frankfort, Kentucky office. This position will process donations, handle accounts receivable and payable, manage our online accounting and donor management systems, and prepare financial reports. In addition, the ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of office operations, including answering and responding to phone calls and scanning and organizing files and documents. 
The ideal candidate will also have experience in communications, marketing, and/or event planning. All candidates must be technologically savvy and be proficient in Microsoft applications and Quickbooks. Experience with non-profit organizations and/or experience managing a database is also a plus.
This is a part-time, contract position that is paid on an hourly basis that would be approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours and duties over time. Please contact Liz Edmondson at for more information or if you have any questions regarding this position.
