Office Manager and Bookkeeper
The Kentucky Resources Council is a non-profit environmental law and policy organization that has worked since 1984 to protect Kentucky's natural resources and promote environmental justice. 
We are looking for a motivated and organized person to become a part-time Office Manager/ bookkeeper at KRC. While we prefer that this position be located in our Frankfort office, this position could also be located in Louisville or could be done largely remotely if the candidate lives close to Louisville or Frankfort.
 This position will oversee all aspects of office operataions at the Council. The office manager/bookkeeper will be responsible for picking up and processing mail, entering and depositing donations, paying bills, managing our online accounting and donor management systems, preparing financial reports, and other administrative and bookkeeping tasks, including answering and responding to phone calls and scanning and organizing files and documents. 
All candidates must be technologically savvy and be proficient with Quickbooks or similar accounting software. Experience with non-profit organizations and/or experience managing a database is also a plus.
Candidates with additional skills, such as event planning, communications, outreach, marketing, social media, fundraising, and other similar qualifications can be considered for additional hours and expanded duties depending on experience.
This is a part-time, contract position that is paid on an hourly basis.  The position is approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours and duties depending on experience. Please contact Liz Edmondson at for more information or to apply.
