Benefit reading for the Coalition for the Advancement of Regional Transportation Posted: October 18, 2002
The Clifton Center Theatre on 2117 Payne Street in Louisville will be the site of a benefit reading for the Coalition for the Advancement of Regional Transportation (CART), a non-profit education and advocacy organization that is the driving force in broadening the vision of the Louisville/So. Indiana region to multi-modal regional transportation. The benefit reading is on November 1, at 7:00 p.m., and features noted Kentucky author Wendell Berry who will be joined by Frank X. Walker, Dianne Aprile and Paul McDonald, and the music of Harry Pickens. A reception will follow. Seating at the event is limited. Advanced reservations are not required but are recommended.
